“Girls Night Out” To Do Good

On the evening of December 6th, some of the girls got together to do some good in the middle of the busy holiday season.  We arrived at the Giving Factory of Cradles to Crayons to help sort, clean, and package clothes and toy gifts for children in need of warm clothes and fun toys during this holiday season.   The Giving Factory was a buzz with volunteers all giving up their evenings to help fulfill the needs and wishes of those less fortunate. Upon arrival, we were told that the Giving Factory had 1400 requests for clothes/toy packages for children in need in the Greater Philadelphia area. But, with only 14 volunteer days left before the holidays, it meant that they had the task of packaging 100 of those each day.  We worked quickly and efficiently to fulfill as many wishes as possible on the night we were there. By the end of the evening, we had made a big dent in all of the donations made by community and had packaged many packs for the children.  It was the perfect way to help in this busy holiday season when we must remember of all those less fortunate.  We can’t wait to go back to help again one day soon!
